Byturidae, also known as Fruitworms[1] là một họ bọ Cánh cứng trong phân bộ Polyphaga.[2][3] The larvae develop in fruits. Byturus unicolor affects species of Rubus and Geum, the larvae of Raspberry beetle raspberry plants.
There are two subfamilies: Platydascillinae and Byturinae. The distribution of Byturinae is holarctic. Species of Platydascillinae are found in southeast Asia.[1]
