Carl Edward Sagan ( /ˈseɪɡən/; 9 tháng 11, 1934 – 20 tháng 12, 1996) là nhà thiên văn học, vật lý thiên văn, vũ trụ học người Mỹ. Sagan được biết đến với những cuốn sách khoa học phổ thông và chương trình truyền hình năm 1980 Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, trong đó ông dẫn chuyện và đồng sáng tác.
