Chionodes petalumensis là một loài bướm đêm nhỏ thuộc họ Gelechiidae.[1] Nó được tìm thấy ở California [2] , và miền tây Bắc Mỹ.[3] The Chionodes petalumensis caterpillars feed on oak leaves, bao gồm those of the Garry Oak (Quercus garryana) [4] và Valley Oak (Quercus lobata), of the California cây sồi woodlands in the chaparral và woodlands ecoregion.
