Passacaglia

Passacaglia (tiếng Tây Ban Nha: pasacalle; tiếng Pháp: passacaille; Italian: passacaglia, passacaglio, passagallo, passacagli, passacaglie) là một hình thức âm nhạc bắt nguồn từ đầu thế kỷ XVII tại Tây Ban Nha.

Nguồn gốc

Mặc dù có nguồn gốc Tây Ban Nha (được xác nhận bởi tài liệu tham khảo trong văn học Tây Ban Nha của thời kỳ này) nhưng các ví dụ đầu tiên bằng văn bản của passacaglia được tìm thấy trong một nguồn của Ý năm 1606. Passacaglia được định nghĩa lại năm 1620 bởi Girolamo Frescobaldi, sau đó các nhà soạn nhạc áp dụng mô hình này.
