Plectropomus pessuliferus là một loài cá trong họ Serranidae. Loài này được tìm thấy ở biển Thái Bình Dương-Ấn Độ Dương và có chiều dài 12 m (39 ft)[1]. Loài cá này đôi khi săn theo đoàn để hợp tác săn mồi với cá chình moray khổng lồ (Gymnothorax javanicus).[2]
