Rana chiricahuensis[1] là một loài ếch trong họ Ranidae. Nó được tìm thấy ở Mexico and Hoa Kỳ. Các môi trường sống tự nhiên của chúng là các khu rừng ôn hòa, sông, intermittent rivers, swamps, hồ nước ngọt, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater đầm lầy, intermittent freshwater marshes, freshwater springs, ponds, and open excavations. Nó bị đe dọa do mất môi trường sống and the chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis to such an extent that it has vanished from 80% of its former habitat.[2] The Phoenix Zoo along with Arizona's Department of Game & Fish, and the USFWS are trying to mitigate threats through captive breeding and reintroduction efforts.[3]
