The Amazon River Frog, Rana palmipes[1], là một loài ếch trong họ Ranidae. Nó được tìm thấy ở Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. In Spanish, it is known as rana verde verdadera.
Các môi trường sống tự nhiên của chúng là các khu rừng ẩm ướt đất thấp nhiệt đới hoặc cận nhiệt đới, subtropical or tropical swamps, sông, hồ nước ngọt, and đầm lầy nước ngọt. Nó không được xem là bị đe dọa theo IUCN.
