Bản mẫu:Infobox weather event/doc/adoption Bản mẫu này nhằm tạo ra một hộp thông tin thời tiết hoàn toàn thống nhất, nhằm mục đích hỗ trợ hầu hết mọi sự kiện thời tiết khắc nghiệt và cho phép thực hiện tách các hộp riêng biệt. Mỗi hộp phụ được phát triển với một mô típ thống nhất bên trong. TemplateData sẽ sớm khả dụng cho các hộp này để dễ dàng thêm hộp thông tin vào các bài viết hiện có.

Hộp thông tin chính (hộp thông tin này) cho phép hình ảnh, tên và lịch sử khí tượng của sự kiện thời tiết. Dữ liệu khí tượng như loại và cường độ thiên tai hoặc dữ liệu khác như thiệt hại và tử vong, được cung cấp thông qua các hộp thông tin phụ.

Hộp thông tin này nhằm mục đích thay thế các hộp thông tin liên quan đến thời tiết hiện tại: {{Thông tin bão}}, {{Thông tin bão 2}}. Vui lòng không sử dụng hộp thông tin này trên các bài viết về lũ lụt vì cách sử dụng của nó gây tranh cãi. Trong trường hợp này nên sử dụng {{Thông tin lũ lụt}}.

Cách sử dụng

Đơn vị gió và gió giật luôn tính bằng knot (nút). Áp suất luôn tính bằng millibar/hectopascal. Đây là những giá trị không thể thay đổi để chuẩn hóa và duy trì tính nhất quán giữa tất cả các hộp thông tin. Thiệt hại luôn tính bằng đô la Mỹ, trừ khi được thiết lập rõ ràng bằng |currency=.

Đầu

Các hộp phụ thang đo cũng tồn tại đối với các cơ quan không phải là Trung tâm Khí tượng Chuyên ngành Khu vực (RSMC). Cách sử dụng

Bản mẫu áp dụng cho các cơn bão, với thang đo bởi Trung tâm Dự báo khí tượng thủy văn quốc gia Việt Nam (NCHMF) quy định tại Quyết định 18/2021/QĐ-TTg của Thủ tướng. Bản mẫu này phụ thuộc vào Bản mẫu:Infobox weather event/scale.

Để hiển thị thông tin khí tượng trong trường hợp không có cơ quan hoặc thang đo (chẳng hạn như trong trường hợp bão lịch sử, ví dụ như bão tại Hải Phòng năm 1881), bạn có thể trực tiếp sử dụng hộp phụ /khí tượng. Thao tác này sẽ xóa cơ quan và khoảng thời gian đo lường khỏi tiêu đề hộp.

Theo mặc định, danh mục "Không rõ cường độ xoáy thuận nhiệt đới" sẽ xuất hiện dưới dạng danh mục. Có thể ghi đè tùy chọn này bằng cách đặt |category= thành bất kỳ ID cơn bão nào.
