Scarlett I. Johansson sinh ngày 22 tháng 11 năm 1984 là một nữ diễn viên, ca sĩ người Mỹ có mang dòng máu Đan Mạch và Thụy Điển[1]; cô có 2 quốc tịch Mỹ và Đan Mạch.[2] Johansson nổi tiếng với vai diễn trong bộ phim The Horse Whisperer năm 1998 và các bộ phim Ghost World, Lost in Translation đoạt giải BAFTA và Girl with a Pearl Earring.

Scarlett Johansson sinh ra và lớn lên tại thành phố New York. Cha cô là Karsten Johansson, là kiến trúc sư người Đan Mạch gốc Thụy Điển đến từ Copenhagen,[3] và ông nội là Ejner Johansson, biên kịch và đạo diễn. Mẹ cô là Melanie Sloan, nhà sản xuất xuất thân trong một gia đình Do Thái Ashkenazi tại the Bronx.[4][5][6] Tổ tiên bên ngoại của cô đã di cư từ Minsk, Belarus tới New York.[7] Cô có một chị gái là Vanessa, cũng là diễn viên; anh trai Adrian; và hai em trai song sinh Hunter (bạn diễn với cô trong Manny & Lo);[8] và một anh trai cùng cha khác mẹ là Christian, con riêng của cha cô với người vợ trước.[9]

Ngày 20 tháng 5 năm 2008, Johansson xuất diễn lần đầu trong album đầu tiên của cô Anywhere I Lay My Head.
