Streptocephalus là một chi tôm tiên được tìm thấy trong vùng nước tạm thời ở châu Phi, Úc, Âu Á, và Trung và Bắc Mỹ, theo nguồn gốc cổ xưa của nó tại Gondwana.[2] Nó có các loài sau:[3][4]
