Čeština: Vlajka obce Veliš, okres Jičín. List dělený bílou krokví, vycházející ze sedmé desetiny žerďového a vlajícího okraje, s vrcholem v deváté dvacetině svislé osy listu, na horní modré a dolní černé pole. V modrém poli bílá hradební zeď s cimbuřím a černou branou se zdviženou mříží mezi dvěma bílými kvádrovanými věžemi s cimbuřím, každá se třemi černými střílnami nad sebou, s červenou stanovou střechou zakončenou žlutou makovicí. V černém poli pod pohanskou korunou zkřížené meče hroty nahoru, vše žluté.
