Krabat
Krabat, còn có tên là "Wendish Faust" là một nhân vật trong văn hóa dân gian Sorbs (khu vực nằm ở vùng ranh giới giữa Đức và Ba Lan). Bản ghi chép sớm nhất về nhân vật này là vào năm 1837,[1] đây là hình tượng của một thầy phù thủy độc ác trở thành một anh hùng trong thế kỷ 19.
Nguồn gốc[sửa | sửa mã nguồn]
Lịch sử của câu chuyện dân gian bắt nguồn từ Johannes Schadowitz (1624 – 1704), một chỉ huy kỵ binh sống tại Groß Särchen (nay là một phần của Lohsa) gần Hoyerswerda năm 1691 dưới thời John George III ở Saxony.

Câu chuyện về việc học nghề của Krabat với một thầy phù thủy độc ác được khắc họa trong tác phẩm Der Zauberlehrling (Phù thủy học việc) của Aarne-Thompson-Uther.[2]
Lan truyền[sửa | sửa mã nguồn]
Câu chuyện dân gian lan truyền tập trung quanh khu vực Lusatia, đáng chú ý nhất là khu định cư Čorny Chołmc, ngày nay là một quận của thành phố Hoyerwerda, nơi Krabat được cho là đã học được sức mạnh phù thủy của mình.[3]
