Năm sách này là: [[Sách Sáng thế]], [[Sách Xuất hành]], [[Sách Lêvi]], [[Sách Dân số]] và [[Sách Đệ nhị luật]]. Torah được chia thành 54 phần, được xướng đọc theo thứ tự trong nghi thức Do Thái giáo, vào mỗi ngày [[Sabbath]] (thứ Bảy trong tuần), từ trang đầu của ''Sách Sáng thế'' cho đến trang cuối của ''Đệ nhị luật''.
