The southern little pipehorse (Idiotropiscis australe) là một loài cá in the Syngnathidae family. It is đặc hữu to Australia. Its natural habitats are open seas, shallow seas, subtidal aquatic beds, and coral reefs. It is threatened by habitat loss.
