Hepialoidea là một liên họ "bướm ma" và "swift moths".[1]
Hóa thạch
[sửa | sửa mã nguồn]Hóa thạch Hepialoidea dường như rất ít.[2] Prohepialus (có thể Hepialidae) được mô tả từ lớp đá sét vôi Bembridge có niên đại khoảng 35 triệu năm tuổi ở đảo Wight.[3] Hóa thạch Hepialoidea Miocen giữa cũng được phát hiện ở Trung Quốc.[4]
