Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (/ˈvɒnəɡət/;; 11 tháng 11 năm 1922 – 11 tháng 4 năm 2007) là một nhà văn và nghệ sĩ hài Mỹ. Trong sự nghiệp kéo dài hơn 50 năm của mình, Vonnegut xuất bản mười bốn tiểu thuyết, ba tập truyện ngắn, năm vở kịch, và năm tác phẩm phi hư cấu. Ông nổi tiếng nhất với cuốn tiểu thuyết bán chạy nhất mang tính trào phúng của mình, Slaughterhouse-Five (Lò mổ số 5, 1969).
