As written on User:MGA73 I try to check that all files on vi.wikipedia have a valid license. If possible I will copy free files to Commons.

This page contain tips and info about the progress. Atm. there are 26.175 files (originally 32,345 files) (August 1, 2022: 24.471 files).

The reason the numbers may not match the total is if some files are in both categories. For example a photo of a statue. The statue is non-free but the photographer placed the photo under a free license.

I just noticed Thể loại:Ứng viên chuyển đổi giấy phép and if possible I would try to help clean up there by migrating the files that are eligible for migration and mark the ones that is not eligible as not eligible. For that I hope that I may be able to use my bot: User:MGA73bot. I fixed more than 500.000 files on Commons and 100.000 on enwiki.

Here on viwiki there was 751 when I started. Since I do not understand Vietnamese I'm not able to fix them all.

I have/will also add some "NowCommons" on images. It will probably be around 100 images and to make sure it is noticed I think it would be good to do that without a bot flag. They will end up in Thể loại:Cũng có sẵn ở Wikimedia Commons.
