Zazie Olivia Beetz[1] (tiếng Đức: [ˈzasiː ˈbeːts])[2][3] là nữ diễn viên người Mỹ gốc Đức, được biết tới qua sê-ri hài Atlanta (2016–nay, kênh FX).Phim mang về cho cô một đề cử giải Primetime Emmy cho Nữ diễn viên phụ xuất sắc nhất trong sê-ri phim hài.[4][5] Cô cũng từng tham gia phim truyền hình Easy 2016-2017 cho Netflix ).[6]
Thời thơ ấu[sửa | sửa mã nguồn]
Beetz sinh ra tại Berlin, Đức.[7][8] Cha cô người Đức, nhập cư vào Mỹ từ năm 1990, sau sự kiện Bức tường Berlin sụp đổ.[9] Mẹ cô là người Mỹ gốc Phi, sinh ra ở New York.[10][11]
Năm 2009, cô tốt nghiệp trường nghệ thuật LaGuardia Arts, sau đó theo học Cao đẳng Skidmore. Năm 2013, cô tốt nghiệp bằng tiếng Pháp ở trường này và[12] sau đó chuyển sang Paris sống một năm.[9]

My dad is German, he was born in East Germany, and then after the [Berlin] Wall was brought down he came to the States for the first time and met my mom. They got pregnant in Germany, got married, stayed and had me there and then when I was 8 years old we moved to the States more permanently. But I was back and forth growing up, I went to pre-school over there but did all my proper schooling in New York.

Her father is white and German, and her mother a black New Yorker, who wanted her daughter to grow up seeing other people who looked like her. Though the family lived in Washington Heights, Beetz spent a couple of months of every summer in Germany with her grandparents.
