Gioachino Rossini

Gioachino Antonio Rossini[1] (29 tháng 2 1792 - 13 tháng 11 1868) là một nhà soạn nhạc người Ý. Ông đã sáng tác 39 bản nhạc opera, nhạc thánh ca, nhạc thính phòng và các tác phẩm cho piano và nhạc cụ. Các tác phẩm opera nổi tiếng nhất của ông bao gồm vở hài kịch Il barbiere di Siviglia (người thợ cắt tóc ở Seville) và La cenerentola cũng như thiên anh hùng ca Moïse et Pharaon và Guillaume Tell. Các giai điệu đầy cảm hứng và có thiên hướng giống các bài hát là điểm đáng chú ý trong các nhạc phẩm của Rossini, chính điều này đã giúp ông có biệt danh "Mozart của Italia". Cho đến khi nghỉ hưu năm 1829, Rossini được xem là nhà soạn nhạc opera nổi tiếng nhất trong lịch sử.[2]
