Franz Kafka (IPA: [ˈfʀanʦ ˈkafka]) (3 tháng 7 năm 1883 - 3 tháng 6 năm 1924) là một trong những nhà văn lớn của thế kỉ 20. Sinh ra trong một gia đình Do Thái trung lưu tại Praha - cơ đồ về viết lách của ông - rất nhiều chưa hoàn thành và phần lớn xuất bản sau khi ông mất - đã trở thành những tác phẩm có tầm ảnh hưởng bậc nhất của văn học phương Tây.
