Barbara McClintock (16/6/1902 – 2/9/1992), là nhà khoa học Hoa Kỳ được nhận giải Nobel Sinh lý học hay Y học, bà là một trong những nhà khoa học xuất sắc nhất thế giới trong lĩnh vực di truyền học tế bào. McClintock được nhận bằng tiến sĩ thực vật học từ Đại học Cornell vào năm 1927, và cũng ở đại học này bà trở thành người dẫn đầu trong nghiên cứu di truyền học tế bào của ngô.
